I thought I was going to play pro football. Turns out nobody wanted a 6'3" tight end, so I went and taught at my old high school just so I could coach.
I hated teaching. But somewhere in there I figured out what I actually loved, building businesses. I started an Amazon dropshipping company before it was cool, sold it, bought a gym, grew it, sold that too. Then I went to work with my wife at her law firm.
It was 2018 and the firm was stuck in 1999. No digital marketing, a website older than some of the staff. So I went to work. Within one year, we'd grown the business by over a million dollars, enough that the three practice areas could split off and stand on their own.
